• We are reopening in phases, beginning with limited in-person classes.
  • Only 14 students are allowed per in-person class.
  • Registration is REQUIRED to attend.
  • You must register for class on Mindbody--NO EXCEPTIONS. No walk-ins will be allowed at this time. If you are having any trouble with your Mindbody account, please email info@suryayogastudio.com.
  • Because of our limited capacity, all cancellations must be made at least 2 hours prior to in-person class start time to allow someone else to take your spot. If you cancel after that time or are a “no show” you will lose that class from your class pack or if you have an unlimited package/membership a $15 cancellation fee will be charged to your account. We have always prided ourselves on a lenient cancellation policy because of our large capacity; however, until we can increase capacity we have to strictly adhere to these policies.
  • Virtual classes have a 30 minute cancellation policy.
  • Virtual livestreaming classes will continue to be offered. Please note when signing up whether the class says “virtual”. Virtual classes are held through Zoom, and you will receive the email link 20 minutes prior to each class. 
  • You can use your class packages and memberships for both in-person and virtual classes. If you would like to do a single virtual drop-in class it is $10.

These past couple of months have been challenging for everyone, and we hope that you are all safe and healthy amid the COVID-19 pandemic. We are excited to announce that we have reopened the studio. As the state of this public health emergency changes from day to day, we will remain focused on keeping our employees, teachers, and clients safe, healthy, and informed. Please continue reading to see changes to protocol, scheduling, and what the next two weeks hold in store for us.

  • Temperature will be taken of all staff, teachers, and guests prior to entering. Individuals with temperature reading of 100 degrees and higher will not be allowed to enter.
  • Studio classes will currently run at 50% capacity in accordance with the state directives. Only 14 people will be allowed in each class.
  • Check-in will be contactless. Simply state your name to the front desk staff as you enter.
  • Markers have been placed in the studio. All mats must be placed in a designated spot. All markers are a minimum of 6 feet from each other.
  • There will be no community mats or props available for use at this time. Please bring your own. If you would like to purchase a mat or any props, please contact us.
  • Studio will open 10 minutes before each class. 
  • Hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout the studio.
  • Face coverings are REQUIRED except when practicing yoga. 
  • Please be aware that we will be livestreaming some of our in-person classes in order to give clients who were unable to get a spot in class or are not yet ready to return to the studio an opportunity to continue to practice. Only the instructor will be on camera, unless otherwise noted. These classes will not be recorded.

Studio Responsibility

  • Staff and teachers will be screened before coming into the studio. Any staff or teacher who has any new or worsening signs or symptoms of possible COVID-19 will be sent home. Any staff or teacher with known close contact to a person who is lab-confirmed to have COVID-19 will not be able to return to work until the end of a 14-day self-quarantine period.
  • Staff and teachers will wash or sanitize their hands upon entering the studio.
  • Staff and teachers will maintain at least 6 feet of separation from other individuals. 
  • Teachers will not perform any hands-on assists during classes.
  • Front desk staff will wear face coverings.
  • All high touch areas will be disinfected regularly, as well as before and after each class.
  • Studio floor will be disinfected before and after each class.
  • Self-screen before coming into the studio. Do not come to class if you have any of the following new or worsening symptoms:
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Chills
    • Repeated shaking with chills
    • Muscle pain
    • Headache
    • Sore throat
    • Loss of taste or smell
    • Diarrhea
    • Feeling feverish
    • Known contact with a person who is confirmed to have COVID-19
  • Wash or sanitize hands upon entering the studio.
  • Register for class beforehand.
  • Bring your own mat and props.
  • Please bring as few personal belongings in with you as possible.
  • Lay your mat out only in one of the designated spots.
  • Arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before class. Avoid congregating in the front lobby or back waiting area.
  • Wear a face covering except when practicing yoga.
