Our Philosophy
Surya Yoga opened in the spring of 2014 to the El Paso community. Integrity is at the core of our business, and we pay homage to the traditions of yoga philosophy while understanding we live in a modern world. Our studio is built on our values and teachings, and we have some of the most highly trained and diversely experienced instructors in the area. We also offer both a 200Hour Yoga Teacher Training, as well as a 300 Hour Advanced Teacher Training program.

At Surya Yoga we view yoga as more than a passing fad or traditional workout. Yoga will tone and strengthen muscles, cultivate balance of body and mind, and help you to build awareness of inner workings of your true self. It is a "practice" that invites you to come to your mat to refine breathing, movement, and optimal alignment in an experience of respect, patience, and grace. Through the asana practice become empowered to look deeper at all parts of your self.
